Abstract

Leadership is a fundamental function of management and deals exclusively with people. It includes the capacity to enlist enthusiasm, ability and energy of all employees toward a given objective.

Management can plan and organise but no tangible output is achieved until management implements the proposed and organised activities. This requires leadership.
