Abstract

Effective management control is not a system to ensure that an institution achieves at least its minimum target - it is simply a link in the continuous management cycle of planning, organising, motivating and controlling which renders the institution ever sensitive to an OPTIMAL target and directs it at THAT target. And it is inseparably dependent upon an effective management information system.
